Personally, I'd like to see them separated out rather than continually compared to one another. Vexel may have stemmed from vector originally, but it's come a long way and is a medium in its own right. An article about vexel art that doesn't even mention vector is probably long over due. Remembering a media's origins is one thing, but there comes a point when a medium should be recognised just for being itself.

Also, vector in Photoshop; many people assume that 'Photoshop vector' is not real vector, and it is. Articles and tutorials like this do exist (I've written one myself) but it never hurts to give a reminder with some fresh examples
